HENDERSON PARK

Public BBQ

Henderson Park offers scenic walking paths along the water's edge with a boardwalk stretching out over peaceful waters. The park features free BBQ facilities, covered picnic tables, and a protected swimming area with netted sections. A popular spot for watching dolphins and pelicans, it also has a playground for children and is convenient to nearby shops offering takeaway food. The location hosts occasional festivals and provides clean toilet facilities. While the park can get busy and some areas need maintenance, the waterfront setting with views across the bay creates a relaxing atmosphere for family gatherings. A small beach area allows for swimming, though water quality varies. The mix of natural wildlife, recreational facilities, and proximity to cafes makes it a versatile destination.
